IPDM, LLC was founded in 2016 as a Local Small Business Enterprise Design & Construction consulting company that provides Owner's Representation and oversight of the design consultants and contractors for the new Terminal 1.5 addition and renovation at Los Angeles International Airport.  IPDM, LLC is LSBE certified in LA County and SBE certified with California Department of General Services.

Terminal 1.5 Scope

A 250,000 square foot passenger processing building provides additional ticket counters, baggage claim devices, baggage screening and security screening lanes to support future flight growth for Domestic airlines. Additionally, this terminal expansion program includes a new bus gate to facilitate transport of customers to the Midfield Satellite Concourse west of the Tom Bradley Int'l Terminal, increasing the daily enplanements for all of LAX. The terminal expansion and renovation will also provide a pedestrian bridge connection point for the future Automated People Mover being constructed to improve access into the LAX campus as part of the Landside Areas Modernization Programs (LAMP).

LAX Terminal 1.5 is a hybrid CMAR/design-build construction project sponsored by Southwest Airlines, the long-term airline operating in the building. The Project Management Team consists of AvAirPros, aviation program consultants and IPDM for budgetary and design oversight respectively. PGAL is the Architect of Record, designing the building and taxilane elements. Hensel Phelps Contractors is responsible for constructing the building and managing the design of the Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical, Baggage Handling and Fire Suppression systems in coordination with PGAL. The Team is co-located in the same office to save time, money and effort in overall project execution.
